A private residence in Guácima (Alajuela, Costa Rica) with clear influences from Mexican architecture, inspired by Legorreta and Barragán. The project seeks a balance between clean, straight lines, large unadorned walls and roofs concealed behind lightweight planes, incorporating elements such as water features in interior access areas and landscaping rooted in the site itself. A design concept was developed to recover the home’s original character and language, while adding value through the creation of healthy, well-balanced living spaces.
