APE Grupo has renewed its Zero Waste verification with SGS, the world-leading company in inspection, verification, testing and certification. The audit, covering the full 2025 financial year, confirms that the company manages its waste with rigour and transparency, in accordance with the criteria set out in the SGS Zero Waste Guidelines for measurement, control and reporting.
Throughout 2025, APE Grupo generated a total of 586.48 tonnes of waste. Of this amount, just 0.12 tonnes were hazardous waste (0.02%), whilst the remaining 586.36 tonnes were non-hazardous. The most significant figure relates to how this waste was managed: 584.54 tonnes — 99.67% of the total — were sent for recycling. Only 1.94 tonnes were sent directly to landfill, representing just 0.33% of the total generated.
The verification process carried out by SGS included a thorough review of APE Grupo’s waste management system: registration and control procedures, the documentary evidence supporting the data, and the consistency between the declared information and the actual operational reality at the logistics centre in Onda (Castellón).

This certification is part of APE Grupo’s sustainability strategy, which is committed to responsible manufacturing throughout the entire lifecycle of its products, from design through to the management of waste generated during the production process.
